Blessed! the one whose lawless deeds are forgiven and the one whose sins are covered over, blessed is the man whom sin, the Lord will not consider.*
Paul writes David foresaw and spoke "blessed is the one whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.* Blessed, is the one whom sin is not considered, this word considered means "to credit, count, reckon, to set down as a matter of account; regard, think, consider." This blessing comes through faith and according to grace, "also David speaks of the blessedness of the one to whom God considers righteousness apart from works."* The word for lawless deeds speaks of the violation of the Law and the word for sin speaks of missing the mark of God's righteousness. Blessed are those who (by faith in Christ according to grace) have been forgiven.
In Him receiving the redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of trespasses according to the riches of His grace.*
This fundamental blessing of forgiveness we also read of in Ephesians 1, that such comes from the riches of His grace. The forgiveness of sin is according to Grace "because we know no one is justified by works of the Law but through faith in Jesus Christ."* Under grace there is no boasting, as we did not deserve such favor of God, we did not earn forgiveness by our works but we are forgiven by the blood of Christ. We receive this blessing because of the works of Christ. We see this in the principle of faith which states, it is apart from works. "Where is boasting then? excluded by what law? Of works? No, but by the law of faith. For we consider that a person is justified by faith apart from the works of the law."*
justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.*
Earlier we read we receive "the forgiveness of trespasses according to the riches of His grace" and here we read we are "justified freely by his grace through the redemption" and we read "now justified by His blood, much more saved from the wrath of God."* Forgiveness we receive freely because we are justified by grace, by His blood. We are forgiven, our sins are passed over because of Jesus, the Passover Lamb of God, "whom God set forth an atoning sacrifice by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate his righteousness, passing over previous sin."* Blessed are those forgiven, whom death will pass over. Forgiveness is by faith according to grace because we are justified Freely by grace through redemption, our sins have been forgiven not by our works but because Jesus died for sin. Blessed are those forgiven, who have been redeemed by grace, favored by God through Christ, a favor undeserved.
Oh give thanks to the LORD, for He is good, for His favor is everlasting. Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, whom he has redeemed from the adversary.
Blessed are those forgiven, who by grace through faith have been saved. Blessed are those forgiven, the redeemed. Blessed are those forgiven, who have been cleansed by the blood of the Lamb. Blessed are those forgiven, adopted, and redeemed, blessed from the riches of His grace. Blessed are those forgiven, the one whom sin, the Lord will not consider. Blessed are those forgiven.
