Come and see what God has done:
his wondrous doing toward the children of man.
He turned the sea into dry land;
and they passed through the river on foot.
There did they rejoice in him,
who rules by his might forever,
whose eyes keep watch on the nations,
Behold do not turn away, look to Him.
O people, bless our God.
let the sound of his praise be heard,
who holds our soul in life
and has not let our feet slip.
For you, O God, have tried us;
you have tried us as silver is tried.
You brought us into the snare;
you laid a crushing burden on our shoulders;
to set upon our heads;
we came through fire and through water;
